GlycoSnap Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your GlycoSnap account and associated data directly in the app. This page explains how to delete your account, delete individual diet records, and what data is deleted or may be retained.

How to Delete Your Account

iOSiOS

  1. Open the GlycoSnap app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Confirm account deletion.

AOSAndroid

  1. Open the GlycoSnap app.
  2. Go to My.
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Confirm account deletion.

How to Delete Individual Diet Records

  1. Open the GlycoSnap app.
  2. Go to Records or Analysis History.
  3. Select the diet record you want to delete.
  4. Tap Delete.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, your anonymous authentication identifier, server-stored food photos, diet records, and analysis results associated with your account are deleted.

What May Be Retained

Some information may be retained where required by law or where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate operational purposes.

Retention Period

Data associated with your account is retained while your account is active or until you delete individual records or request account deletion. Data retained for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate operational purposes is kept only for as long as necessary.
